Are your makeup brushes moldy?

The cleanliness of your tools plays a significant role in your skin health. Makeup brushes accumulate makeup residue, oil and bacteria over time, and if you don’t clean them, this can lead to breakouts and skin irritation. Make it a self-care ritual to regularly clean your brushes and access the ultimate beauty upgrade… your skin will thank you!

How often do you wash your brushes?

Wash your brushes monthly with warm water and liquid soap. Swirl through on your palm and rinse thoroughly by running through the water and then squeezing the brush. Repeat until fully clean and allow to dry properly overnight. It should take no longer than 15 minutes to wash all your brushes. With each rinse, you’re saying yes to healthier skin!

In between water washes you should always run your brush over a cotton disc/tissue that has rubbing alcohol on it to disinfect and decongest the brush. You can do this just before you need to use it.

We highly recommend that all new brushes are thoroughly washed and wiped through with rubbing alcohol before first use, especially for super sensitive skin.
