Soft Complexion - Pressed Powder Foundation

I have very sensitive skin. in the past ive had so many horrible allergic reactions ive had some ptsd when it comes to trying new products. its so hard to find makeup with minimal ingredients. ive been wearing this now for 1 week and its made my skin better somehow. my skin is soft and it calms my rosacea, evens out my complexion it feels and looks like my actual skin i got shad 011. and it was a perfect match. i have combo skin it held up all day nicley with my oily skin i barley even had to touch up my makeup it also has great coverage for my large pores. im so glad i came across this brand. please dont ever change this formula its pure perfection!

I have very sensitive, reactive, and acne prone skin. I have worn the foundation for a couple of months with great success, so decided to try my luck with the blush. It is just as amazing! It is highly pigmented and the online photos are true to the color you receive. I have used the blush for several weeks and have had no breakouts or reactions. Absolutely worth purchasing!

Long review! Recently I've been on a mission to replace every product that touches my face with exclusively acne-safe ingredients. In my 30s, I still get acne and an oily T-zone, but my skin has become a bit dry particularly in the midwestern winter. That's why I selected the pressed foundation vs. the loose from this company, as I got the impression from the site that it's more appropriate for dry skin (jojoba oil and such). It's fantastic!! I was so scared it'd look powdery but it doesn't, it's gorgeous. I spray it all down with a setting spray and it actually makes my texture look better overall. It's like magic. I had actually written off foundation years ago because I hate how cakey it looks so I just used exclusively concealer + powder, but this single foundation makes me look LESS made up than what I was previously doing. And it evens out my tone so well; I have discoloration and acne scars. I used to wear Nyx concealer in the shade "Vanilla" and this foundation in shade 012 is perfect! Their photos and videos (especially on Insta) were sooo helpful in picking the shade and I was able to nail it on the first try. I'm pretty neutral, with warm tones but also pinks in my skin, and this doesn't look yellow on me or anything. I suspect 013 is going to be perfect in the summer. I also love, love, love blush and I'm so happy to have super-pigmented blushes that are noncomedogenic, but that's for a separate review haha. I already made my second order for more products. This has kinda changed my life. Also this is going to sound insane but every time I cleanse my makeup off at night, my skin feels SMOOTHER than on the days I don't wear makeup? I stg it's like this is not only not clogging my pores, but *improving* my skin somehow. But either way it is definitely not giving me acne and that's all I was asking for. I'm just a regular person and I hope my review helps someone, because I always scour for reviews and there aren't too many on this brand so I took a leap of faith. Thank y'all!!

I started with the 3-in-1 Powder Foundation in Caramel 2 and loved the coverage and light feel on my skin. I jumped on the Pressed Powder in Shade 023 because it is compact, easy to travel, and great for my sensitive skin. I like not using a lot of product and like how the product settles down on my skin. You need to apply immediately after your moisturizer and sunscreen.

Overall, I am happy with all of my The Good Mineral foundations, brushes, and other products. The customer service is excellent, and the matching service is fantastic.

I appreciate both the pressed and loose powder foundations are acne friendly. It’s difficult to find makeup that does not clog my pores and this is perfect. The pressed foundation does apply well if you apply it immediately after moisturizer or sunblock. The pressed does a pretty good job of not settling into fine lines but the coverage is not as good as the loose. The loose has better coverage but settles easily into fine lines. The lightest shade in the loose is a little bit too dark and too yellow for me. In the pressed, shade 012 is perfect. Shades 010 and 011 are too light for me in the pressed. Would be awesome to be able to use the too light shades in the pressed as under eye concealer. It looks good, but I am allergic to something in both the loose and pressed and cannot use them under or on my eyelids, so I used a different brand of concealer there. I am regularly using the pressed on my face and it’s great!
